摘要
The possibility is studied for controlling the negative difference-effect (NDA) of anodically polarized Al by contact deposition of metals. An investigation is performed into the effect of PbCl2, SnCl2, CdCl2 and IlNO3 on the NDE for AD-1M alloy in 1MHCl. It is shown that the efficiency of the NDE suppression depends on the nature of a salt added and on the polarization potential of an electrode under conditions studied, CdCl2 is the most effective addition for suppressing self-dissolution of the alloy. In the process of self-dissolution in the presence of salts as well as under corrosion the basic cathode reaction is the hydroxonium discharge. Possible decrease in the NDE and the feasibility of a positive NDE in solutions under study are analyzed. This will serve to reduce the Al alloy losses.
