摘要：
Some mathematical models are usually available for describing a particular process. Proper model selection from various choices possible is the subject of this paper. The author presents different methods of such selection and their evaluation for a solid-liquid filtration process. The methods based on linear as well as nonlinear model equations were taken into account.
