摘要
This paper describes four development categories which have manifested themselves since 1950 in the field of optical instruments for medical engineering at VEB Carl Zeiss JENA. These four categories include modular systems; systems with modern optical, electronic and precision-mechanical components; complex medical workplaces with a high rationalization effect for the user; and novel instruments for the realization of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
