Contact interaction of Bi2O3-SiO2 melts with Pt and SiO2 depending on concentration and temperature is studied. The melt viscosity is measured by vibration method. A density of Bi12SiO20 single crystals grown by Chokhralsky method is defined. The equations, describing a dependence of Pt wettability upon temperature are given. It is noted that about 2/3 length of grown single crystal is optically homogeneous and the irregularly colored inclusions are being observed in bottom.
