Determination of the Effectiveness of Cylindrical Screens in Quasi-Stationary Consideration of Steady-State Electromagnetic Processes.

Expressions are obtained for the screening factor S//n and the reaction coefficient W//n for screens with relative magnetic permeability mu //r, generally different from unity, and specific conductivity of the material gamma , different from zero. It is shown that the formulas for the coefficients S//n and W//n, known from literature, can be derived from the above general expressions, as partial cases.
