Effect of normal pressure on the stress distribution along a bi-material interface

摘要
The paper presents an analytical solution for the elastic fields in the vicinity of a hemispherical inhomogeneity at the free surface of a semi-infinite elastic body. The elastic inclusion is subjected to a uniformly distributed load acting on its free surface. Stress and displacements along the interface are evaluated as functions of the size of the loaded area and various material combinations.
