Reference is made to a paper by N.J. Mohamed. It is claimed that the analytical derivations given there include a number of major errors that made it possible for Mohamed to arrive at the closed-form expressions for the antenna energy pattern given by equations (17)-(19) and (22)-(24). The commenting author presents his corrections for Mohamed's errors and comment on some of Mohamed's stated conclusions.
