摘要
A study was performed to simulate electroluminescence (EL) from organic light-emitting devices (LEDs) under an alternating applied field by using Monte Carlo method. The dependences of EL on the frequency of an applied field, band gap, electrode work function and film thickness of the active organic material was studied. The results show that in single-layered devices, the relative intensities of EL in the forward and reverse biases depend on the barrier heights of holes and electrons.
