摘要：
An experimental study was conducted on the design and fabrication aspects of tanks using light gauge materials on an elaborate scale. The observations that were made on the design and fabrication aspects are described in brief along with the relevant case studies. A brief note on the likely problems that are to be kept in mind while mechanization is attempted are also described.
