Nickel-iron alloy deposition has been widely used as a substitute for decorative nickel coatings. This process combines the brilliance, leveling and uniformity of bright nickel with the economy of iron. This paper deals with the development of a suitable brightener system and optimization of conditions for obtaining acceptable deposits.
