Formation of gradient structure in high-pressure apparatus for diamond synthesis

摘要
Treatment of cemented carbide dies with metal melts makes it possible to develop gradient structures in their volumes, as a result of which the change in the stress distribution is observed both in steel components of a high pressure apparatus and the cemented carbide die. These changes aid in increasing service life of high pressure apparatuses when synthesizing diamonds. As an example, distribution of cobalt content in the cemented carbide dies volumes, and the duration of the die treatment with cobalt melt are calculated.
