摘要
Equations for disturbing amplitudes of velocity and pressure have been derived. Based on these equations, criteria for centrifugal instability in a turbulent boundary layer with suction and with no suction have been obtained. Suction leads to the stabilization of flows and to the worsened conditions for the appearance of Taylor-Gertler whirls. The suction effect increases as the profile curvature of the disturbing amplitude for the longitudinal component of the velocity diminishes.
