摘要
Increased quality of the surface of 08-12 Kh18N10T steel castings is promoted by maximum nitridation of metal during treatment outside the furnace and its suppression in continuous casting. Such effect is attained by decrease of the end temperature of out-furnace working down to 1565 ° C and not more then 45° C difference of metal temperatures in casting and intermediate ladles. Such innovation in casting of stainless Ti-containing steel according to the scheme ″100-t arc furnace conticaster″ provided to decrease slab spoilage due to surface defects by 2-3 times, and metal losses during stripping before slabbing from 6-7 to 4-5%.
