摘要
Devices for overspill protection, especially with environmentally hazardous liquids, is a highly topical subject which will undoubtedly increase in importance. Scope, construction, and official acceptance are incorporated in official directives. Measures prescribed for regular testing of such devices lead to higher personnel costs and sometimes to shutdown times in industry. Permanent aid is provided by overspill-protection devices whose functional status is subject to permanent surveillance by an electronic system. Since corrosion damage is also immediately indicated, formerly prescribed dismantling is no longer necessary.
