摘要
The advent of inexpensive analog-to-digital converters, digital readouts, and - most important - microprocessors changed the measurement landscape in the laser world permanently. Today's power and energy meters, almost uniformly, are digital devices. These changes yielded improved measurement accuracy and, usually, simpler calibration. The author reports on photodetector based meters, pyroelectric based meters, thermopile-based meters and calorimeter based meters.
