摘要
Quantum-mechanical constraints to be imposed on the spectral densities of fluctuations in linear, active multiterminal networks are determined. These constraints allow one to evaluate the best possible characteristics of various measuring circuits with the help of the classical theory of optimum filtering. The effect of the input admittance and of the correlation of fluctuations in input and output circuits on the errors of measurement and on the minimum noise temperature of the amplifier are indicated.
