摘要
A new method is proposed for radar precise assessment. A small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with global position system (GPS) acts as the moving radar system target. The UAV position data and the radar data can be used to evaluate the radar precision. The UAV data processing and requests to GPS are discussed. The system precision can be improved using the differential GPS technology with error data from a terrestrial station to correct the UAV positioning data. A Kalman filter is also used to reduce the effects of disturbances. Simulation results clearly reveal the advantages of this method.
