摘要
The paper discusses research to seek growth and land use patterns of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area; to make predictions of growth direction of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area; and growth control and management techniques and policy. Field surveys and interviews on both 'expert' and residents and literature review were analyzed and used to formulate growth and land use patterns of the area. Predictions of growth direction were also made in the same way.
