A study was conducted on the optical absorption spectra in doped GaAs quantum well (QW) driven by both the THz field and the optical pulse. Thus, the detailed information of the optical absorption in a QW under an intense terahertz radiation was obtained. It was found that the calculated Autler-Towns splitting was in good agreement with the experiments.
