摘要
The structural strength of welded structures (SSWS) in heavy engineering characterizes the actual state of the metal of blanks in welded joints obtained under the effect of a specific technological process on this metal. The problem of the SSWS is greatly complicated in repair and reconditioning operations, in which service damage is added to embrittlement. This paper presents two approaches to examining the problem of the SSWS. The first is to carry out experimental studies, and collect and analyze statistical information based on examining the reasons for failure of the structures. The second is based on imaging the physico-chemical processes of the objects in the form of physico-mathematical and mathematical models.
