摘要：
The effect of a shield is investigated which is in the form of a hollow sphere made of a material with arbitrary magnetic permeability which is constant. It is assumed that the electromagnetic field is generated by a sinusoidal alternating current that flows through a spherical coil. The shielding factor, which comprises the overall magnetic field within the shield, is determined. The power losses in the shield were also determined.
