PERFORMANCE TESTS OF A GREENHOUSE EQUIPPED WITH A HEAT COLLECTOR AND A STORAGE UNIT HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT AND THE FOLLOWING RESULTS HAVE BEEN OBTAINED: THE AVERAGE RATIO OF THE HEAT RECOVERED AT NIGHT TO THE INCIDENT SOLAR ENERGY INTO THE GREENHOUSE IS 20P AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THE ROOM TEMPERATURE IS KEPT ABOVE 10 D. C EVEN IN COLD WINTER. A COMPUTER MODEL HAS BEEN DEVELOPED AND VALIDATED USING THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA.
