摘要：
Dielectric properties of L-p-alkoxybenzylidene p prime -amino 2 methylbutyl-cinnamate are studied. D-E hysteresis in DC condition are observed in smectic-C and -H phases of the compounds with a long alkoxy chain. The spontaneous polarization measured by this method is 0. 0015 mu C/cm**2, which is close to the value measured by the Sawyer-Tower method; however, the hysteresis loop is smaller than the case of the Sawyer-Tower method. Frequency dependence of the dielectric constant is also studied.
