摘要
The atomic absorption and emission determination of strontium in an air-acetylene flame is throughly studied. A superior analytical method is proposed in which lanthanum or sodium is used to suppress aluminum matrix interference; the method has been successfully applied to standard aluminum alloys. Further, two new atomic absorption and flame-emission spectrophotometry procedures are described for the determination of strontium in the same alloys, both involving the use of a nitrous oxide-acetylene flame. Chemical operations have been reduced to a minimum in order to provide a simple, rapid and accurate procedure.
