p-methoxybenzaldehyde isonicotinoyl-hydrazone monohydrate

摘要：
X-ray analysis reveals that the title compound, C14H13N3O2·H2O, is in keto tautomeric form and the configuration at the azomethine Cqq@N double bond is E. The pyridine plane makes a dihedral angle of 39.9(1)° with the plane through the central hydrazone bridge. The crystal structure is stabilized by extensive hydrogen bonding involving the water molecule and the hydrazone bridge.
