摘要：
The bulk of manganese ore is used for the production of manganese alloys, the most important of which is ferromanganese. The picture for manganese ore and alloys is not very pretty. The bull factor for miners and sellers of manganese ore is that the U. S. S. R. and mainland China have now entered the world market and are purchasing manganese ore from Western suppliers. Their own resources of high-grade ores are apparently insufficient to meet their own demand, and in 1984 the two countries purchased about 600,000 t.
