摘要
It is shown how the loading state of a structure can be characterized with the aid of a material constant determining the crack resistance. The conditions for selecting a proper sample which ensures that the boundary conditions for the plane strain state are obtained are indicated. The stress distribution for cylindrical samples with various gap geometries is described.
