Superconducting transitions of the (Yb, Lu, Sc)Ba2Cu3O7-y systems

Meissner effect (50 G field cooled) measurements of the (Ybl-xScx)Ba2Cu307_ x system indicate that diamagnetic susceptibility at low temperature decreases linearly from 4.4 memu/g.G at x = 0.0 to 1.47 memu/g.G at x = 0.7. This result is consistent with the increasing presence of tetragonal phase and impurity phases.
