摘要
A review is made of composites which are produced at the Textile Institute in Lodz, Poland on the basis of nonwoven fabrics. Their uses in geotextiles are discussed and the uses of flame-resistant and electro-conductive composites are noted. Composites containing superabsorbents are employed in power and telecommunications cables. Their role in reinforcing concrete is examined. There are 18 references.
