Part one of this article included a discussion of analog input multiplexers used in data-acquisition systems and their related tradeoffs in terms of static and dynamic performance when used with RC input filters, buffers, and instrumentation amplifiers. Part two begins at the output of the instrumentation amplifier stage and continues with the next element in a typical system path - the sample-hold (S-H) circuit, also called track-hold.
