摘要：
The paper examines some problems associated with industrial systems, namely how to measure a small but critical signal in the presence of overwhelming noise without reliable ground reference. Potential solutions to such problems are discussed, together with information on developing equipment for a huge market in this area of interest. The first part of this paper deals with the origins of industrial signals. The second part deals with the shielding and grounding requirements for accurate industrial measurements.
