摘要
The interaction of tetrabutoxy titanium with water from a gas phase significantly changes its catalytic activity in the reaction of aniline with benzoic acid. Tetrabutoxy titanium reaction with water is studied by the 1H NMR method. The concentration and possible structure of a complex having the maximum catalytic activity were determined. The probable mechanism of catalytic amide formation in the presence of tetrabutoxy titanium activated by water is discussed.
