摘要
In most electrical engineering processes, electrorotational flows (ELF) have a significant effect on the process. In some cases, they have a decisive effect on heat and mass transfer in liquid-metal, slag, or electrolytic baths. The authors examine the effect of an external longitudinal magnetic field on heat and mass transfer with an axisymmetric ELF. As the model, they use a cylindrical container with electrodes of different cross section at the base.
