摘要
The authors discuss where and how uncertainties enter a PRA and how uncertainty can be managed. The HAZOP approach is discussed along with its application. The lessons learned from chemical plant risk assessment are briefly outlined. One approach to the systematic improvement of safety involves the use of probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) methods.
