摘要：

Power in the form of electrical energy is a scarce commodity in all the developing countries of the world in particular. Hence conservation of power is most important in any planning. In tropical countries, air conditioning plants play a major role and become a necessity. These A. C. plants are one of the areas where not enough care is taken to stop the auxiliary machinery when the main machine is off, thus draining valuable power unnecessarily.
