OPTIMAL MEASUREMENT OF RADAR PARAMETERS OF METEOROLOGICAL TARGETS.

The possibility of matching the radio channel of the receiver of a weather radar on the basis of analogous characteristics of just the sounding pulse is shown on the basis of the results of theoretical investigations of the spectral characteristics of the echo signals. By means of a spectral approach the indices of the quality of reception of radar meteorological echo signals are analyzed and the selection of the optimal relationship between the passband of the receiver and duration of the sounding pulse of the transmitter of the weather radar station is substantiated.
