摘要
Domestic and imported crude oils were investigated by gel-permeation chromatography. Polystyrene gel was used as adsorbent. The purpose of this research was to use the technique of gel-permeation chromatography as a ″finger print″ method. Authors tried to identify the following crude oils: Iraqi-light, Libyan-heavy, Moslavina-mixed, Zutica and Benicanci by comparing the gel-permeation obtained chromatograms with the standardized chromatograms of more than 40 different crude oils, and to establish the type to which they belonged. Three samples, i. e. Iraqi-light, Libyan-heavy and domestic crude oil Benicanci gave chromatograms which could be incorporated in the standard oil groups. Two crudes were found unsuitable or incorporation in any of the standard oil groups.
