摘要
The dynamic defocusing effects in a resonant oscillator with a long orotron-type interaction are examined on the basis of a two-dimensional theory. The results of the calculation of the basic characteristics of an orotron, obtained on the basis of two-dimensional and one-dimensional theories, are compared. Systems with double and single periodic structures are considered. It is shown that in systems with a double structure for real values of the dimensionless beam thickness and space-charge parameter the one-dimensional theory with an averaging of the HF fields over the beam cross section yields acceptable calculation accuracy, whereas a calculation of systems with a single structure using this method leads to an appreciable error for the same values of beam thickness and space charge.
