The influence of neutron irradiation at 70 plus or minus 20 degree C with doses of 5 multiplied by 10**1**9, 4 multiplied by 10**2**0 and 1. 2 multiplied by 10**2**1 neutron/cm**2 is investigated at different stages of decomposition of the alpha solid solution in alloy Cu-9. 5 at. % Be in initially different states. Neutron dose, initial state and annealing temperature play a part in the acceleration of decomposition at the initial (Guinier-Preston zones) and intermediate stages ( gamma prime phase) and slowing down of decomposition at the final stage (formation of gamma phase).
