Simple Variable-Structure Controller for Increasing Robustness.

Using a simple algorithm for structure variation a high robustness of stability with respect to parameter variations and slowly varying external disturbances may be achieved by tuning to a real sliding state. In this we succeed by shaping the amplitude and phase plot of a linear digital filter using a so-called positive loop. The design takes place in the frequency domain. A design example confirms the suggested algorithm.
