The silica gel thin-layer chromatography (TLC) conditions of polyoxyethylene glycol stearates of m. w. 1000-6000 have been described. The mixtures containing various ratios of tri- or tetra carbon atoms alcohols and concentrated ammonia water were used as the developing solvents.
