摘要
Two series aromatic copolyesters were prepared. These polyesters had low melting points and good liquid crystal properties. The effects of substituents in the aromatic rings on the properties of the polymers are also discussed. The bonding energies between carbon atoms and substituents could affect the decomposition temperature of the copolyesters.
