摘要
The proliferation of VLSI technology into our daily lives has been no more pronounced in any area than that of microcontrollers. The application of these chips in consumer products, from washing machines to VCRs, to automobiles will soon leave no modern home free from the advances of microprocessor technology. It is pointed out how both traditional and novel techniques have been combined to provide the advanced performance of the MCS-96 microcontroller family.
