摘要
Power beaming from space-based reactor systems is examined using an advanced compact, lightweight Rotating Bed Reactor (RBR). Closed Brayton power conversion efficiencies in the range of 30 to 40% can be achieved with turbine, with reactor exit temperatures on the order of 2000 K and a liquid drop radiator to reject heat at temperatures of 500 K.
