摘要：
The purpose of all automatic gain systems is to control a variable gain amplifier so that its output voltage stays approximately equal to a reference voltage for all values of input signal within certain limits. These limits define the working range of the system. To carry out this function, negative feedback is used. The paper analyzes the parameters which define the operation of a negative feedback amplifier.
