An analysis of condensation on extended-surface tubes is presented. The expressions derived were confirmed by experimental data on condensation of various vapors. To find the best geometry of condenser-tube fins, the size of the flooded zone on the bottom surfaces of horizontal tubes and the parameters of the film flowing down in grooves of vertical tubes were determined.
