Integrated design of fault tolerant control system based on fault tolerant observer

摘要
A kind of linear control system was considered, in which the sensor faults with constant shift occur. A fault tolerant observer was designed to perform asymptotic estimation for the faults and actual system state, implement the fault tolerant control, and assure normal operation of the system. The feature of the observer design is the integration of fault detection and diagnosis with fault tolerant controller. Simulation results for an autonomous underwater vehicle show preliminarily the effectiveness of the design.
