Development of a mathematical model for the study of rotary- vane compressors

摘要
A less comprehensive mathematical model of a rotary- vane compressor (RVC) was constructed and called the Lumped Model. The goal was to reduce the required computer time to about 10 sec per data point. This model provided a reasonably accurate picture of the performance of the rvc at different operating conditions. The article concentrates on the development of this Lumped Model and a discussion of the results that were obtained.
