摘要
Growth responses of arctic marine phytoplankton to crude oils were determined at various temperatures and exposures in a defined medium at constant light energy. Relative species sensitivity of the phytoplankton to the oils was determined based on percentage survival, exponential growth rate and generation line. Chlamydomonas was the most tolerant species and had a greater ability to resume growth, while diatoms were sensitive and had litle or no ability to resume growth. Possible ecological consequences of such species sensitivity and differential growth are discussed.
