摘要
An analytical model for a high-speed verical-axis wind turbine has been formulated to predict the overall rotor performance and the aerodynamic performance, i. e. , the distribution of the blade loading, etc. The theory has been made for the three-dimensional rotor configuration and as a special case it includes the case of the two-dimensional rotor configuration. The analysis is based upon the vortex theory. By using a simple assumption for the shedding velocity of the free vortex, this model should allow one to make accurate predictions of the aerodynamic performance without complicated calculations.
